Enterprise Solutions Architect
Translate institutional infrastructure, data, AI and security requirements into sequenced technical roadmaps with measurable operational and financial outcomes.
Role mandate
Build the capability for the era ahead.
This team member will combine subject-matter depth, sound judgment and disciplined execution to move the mission from architecture to measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Own the Enterprise Strategy workstream for Enterprise Solutions Architect and deliver measurable technical or operating outcomes.
- Define resilient compute, storage, networking, power, cooling and security architectures.
- Translate enterprise requirements into phased modernization roadmaps and technical standards.
- Measure capacity, reliability, cost, risk and operational readiness.
Required qualifications
- Experience designing or operating enterprise, data-center, cloud, edge or network infrastructure.
- Strong systems-architecture skills across hardware, software, security and operations.
- Ability to lead requirements, design reviews and implementation planning.
Preferred experience
- Experience with critical infrastructure, high-availability operations or quantum-ready modernization.
- Relevant architecture, networking, cloud or security certifications.
Scientific and technical requirements
Physics, mathematics and engineering foundations
- Systems architecture, graph/dependency analysis, reliability, capacity planning, information modeling and security engineering.
- Cost modeling, optimization and decision analysis for phased modernization under technical and financial constraints.
Mathematics and working equations
- Total cost of ownership = capital + implementation + operations + risk-adjusted outage/security cost over the planning horizon.
- Availability for independent series elements is approximately Aseries = ΠAi; redundancy models must include common-cause failures.
- Prioritize work with documented multi-criteria decision analysis rather than an unexplained composite score.
Hardware, flight and infrastructure components
- Compute, storage, network, identity, API/event integration, data platform, observability, security controls and disaster-recovery services.
Software, laboratory and analysis tools
- Architecture repository and modeling notation, requirements/traceability platform, dependency maps, cost models, CMDB and risk register.
- Cloud/data-center consoles, API catalogs, data lineage, network diagrams, dashboards and technical decision records.
Verification and mission skills
- Trace stakeholder needs to requirements, interfaces, controls, test evidence, operational ownership and measurable business outcomes.
Authoritative technical references
The hiring sequence will follow operating milestones and project requirements. The position may begin through advisory, consulting or project-based work before moving into a full-time role.
